Subansiri Lower H.E. Project, a unit of NHPC Limited (a Navratna Company) invites application from eligible candidates for undergoing one-year apprenticeship training for the year 2024-25 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in the following disciplines as below:

Note: All applicants must meet the age criteria of a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 30 years.

Note: All applicants must meet the Minimum Essential Education Qualification : 10th Class pass or equivalent (under 10+2 system) from a recognized board, with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade approved by NCVT/SCVT/recognized Board of Technical Education.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must possess the minimum essential educational qualifications as specified for each trade/discipline.
- Candidates with pending results are not eligible to apply.
- Only those who have completed their diploma in the relevant discipline in or after 2020 are eligible for the Category-I Technical/Diploma Apprentices positions.
- Candidates must meet the age criteria as outlined in the notification.
- Individuals with prior training/experience of one year or more and those who have absconded from previous apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply.
Stipend Details:
- During the training period, a monthly stipend of Rs. 8,000/- will be paid to Category-I Technical/Diploma Apprentices (including the government share).
- Category-II Trade Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 7,700/- as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and/or in line with the notifications from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, as updated from time to time.
- Apprentices will not be entitled to any additional allowances or benefits.
Preference for Selection:
- First preference will be given to children of those affected by the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project, NHPC Ltd.
- Second preference will go to children from the project-affected areas/districts.
- Third preference will be for candidates from other districts within Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
- Fourth preference will be given to candidates from other states.
Duration of Apprenticeship Training:
- The apprenticeship training will last for one year, after which the contract created through the respective apprenticeship portal will automatically end.
Reservation:
- Seat reservation will follow the relevant rules under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and any amendments made to it.
Minimum Physical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the minimum physical standards outlined in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule, 1992.
- A Medical Fitness Certificate from a competent government authority must be submitted at the time of joining.

Step-I
For Category-I Technical Diploma Apprentices:
- Review the Terms & Conditions outlined in the notification.
- Ensure you have a valid Aadhar number, mobile number, and email ID before applying.
- Qualified Diploma candidates should first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and apply for the seats advertised by Subansiri Lower H.E. Project (Establishment Enrollment ID: EARPAC094944).
- The online application period is open from October 15, 2024, to November 5, 2024.
For Category-II Designated Trade Apprentices:
- Review the Terms & Conditions outlined in the notification.
- Ensure you have a valid Aadhar number, mobile number, and email ID before applying.
- ITI-passed candidates should first register and complete their profile on the apprenticeship portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and apply for the relevant seats under Subansiri Lower H.E. Project, NHPC Ltd. (Establishment Code: E01221200002).
- The online application period is open from October 15, 2024, to November 5, 2024.
Step-II
- Complete the blank Application Form provided in Annexure-I.
- Submit/send the filled Application Form along with self-attested copies of educational certificates and mark sheets, domicile certificate, Project Affected Family (PAF) document, Aadhar card, etc., by Speed Post/Registered Post/By hand to the address mentioned in the notification.
